Dear Proportion Pictures,
Hate you too, mean it.
Love & Hugz,

P.S. It is NOT ok to rip off the Black Christmas remake for your shitty movie.
Daily Horror Hunt #23 – May 2020 Day 12. Go to the "every movie tagged in the daily horror hunt" master list. Watch one that starts with the first letter of either your first name or your Letterboxd username.
The babysitter that sends the kid downstairs to get the phone, whilst hiding in the closet herself, away from a killer, child stealing witch, isn't the worst parental figure in this movie.
The person who edited this should go back to school, or ask for a refund. I'm not sure which. Maybe ask for a refund and then go to a different school?
The ending skeeved me out (take little girl into the woods where there's a dude waiting to stroke her hair?? UGH!!). The rest of the movie bored or annoyed me. But I enjoyed some of the Christmas themed kills and the non-cgi gore.
Another cheap beans on toast holiday horror that makes no sense. There is no Krampus it's some other random lady that takes kids or something. Like it's an unrelated folklore story. But she's also out for revenge? Isn't the kid taking her whole schtick? And then apparently this Frau chick is supposed to gut bad kids and stuff them with straw but the one in the movie doesn't do anything even remotely like that. Stupid.
Day 22, a Krampus movie that went straight to video.
Dribbling for a skin cookie?
An absolute 'please detonate my telly', this was painful to get through. Like pooping tinsel.

Mother Krampus kinda slays, she got that lil holiday cheer, she got that fat krampussy poppin and wilding. I see what she putting down. I likey. Mommy Krampy come and get me <3
Why does this exist? That’s pretty much the only question that went through my mind while watching this garbage. I really don’t have much to say about this one like at all, the acting is unintentionally hilarious, the writing leads to some hilariously bad moments, the plot is ridiculous and much more! This is pretty much your typical terrible straight to DVD release don’t even bother.
3.2/10 D-
this movie is so bad i actually developed appendicitis and i got my appendix taken out years ago
This was kind of a weird movie. A UK movie that is based on the myth of Frau Perchta, a figure from Alpine folklore of Austria and Germany. They say she is very similar to Krampus, but I don't think the two have anything to do with the other. In the movie, they say she appears every few years and takes or kills a kid every day on the twelve days of Christmas. It kind of felt like they were taking different myths here and throwing them together. At one point, a couple of girls say her name a few times and she appears. She kills in sometimes creative ways. There was one kill that reminded me some of the…
I'm tired, boss.
My mother put this on because she thought it looked interesting, and then fell asleep a couple minutes in…
At least the gore was pretty decent?
"Get away from her you...witch?"
(cue sad trombone)
Christmas dross from England with a cynical script that took 30 minutes to write. A Freddy Kruger murdered child killer premise with elements of a bloody mary setup and kills lifted from Black Xmas. Nothing to do with Krampus or his mother for that matter.
It's extremely poor, but there are tons of christmas trappings and at one point someone gets their belly cut open and stuffed with lit christmas lights and then hung on a pole, and that's pretty boss.
Frau Perchta was great in this. She's beautiful, fabulously dressed, she wanders around ominously carrying a hairless cat, she's just grand really. She attacks people with Christmas lights, she even crafts festive Christmas decorations out of the bodies of her victims! I love her.
Unfortunately, she doesn't get much screentime in this movie, which largely focuses on a tearful, boring family drama and some mopey little kids. The non-Perchta scenes are extremely trying to sit through, so I can't say I'll ever watch this again.
