While I wouldn't say this is one of the best Noir's to grace the silver screen, I would still call The Blue Dahlia an essential film of the genre. This carries many of the natural fundamental elements attributed to - and that helped shape the genre. In celebration of Marilyn Monroe's 100th birthday. 🥳 Which TCM graciously (and unsurprisingly) ran a marathon and started with her role that sent her through the stratosphere into a marquee headlining leading lady.
