i don't know how they did it but this fucking movie made me cry and it was all about some BASEBALL STATISTICS!!! WHO THE FUCK CRIES OVER BASEBALL STATISTICS

you know brad pitt is a true movie star because if almost anyone else played billy beane this would’ve essentially come across as an episode of nathan for you. instead, the front office dealings of a middling baseball team has the energy & cool of the first half of goodfellas. it’s nice that this movie is now a certified cable classic

So brave to not give Brad Pitt a love interest

how can you not get romantic: Pitt eating a Twinkie, Pitt negotiating the Rincon deal, Pitt saying, “every time we talk I’m reinvigorated by my love of the game”
