Honoring the films released in 1937, the 10th Academy Awards Ceremony was held at the Biltmore Hotel in Los Angeles on March 10, 1938. The ceremony was hosted by Bob Burns.
This year marks the last year in which awards for Best Dance Direction and Best Assistant Director were given. It also marks the introduction of the Irving G. Thalberg Memorial Award.
