the elcochran90 discord watch party catalogue. this server was created by seventh_persona on may 30, 2022. i handle watch party attendance, server events, and this very list. i update the list to the most recently finished watch party, usually right after the film is finished screening. after the film shown, we discuss the film with edgar cochran himself, so if you wanna talk to the man himself, this is your chance!

check notes for exact date, who recommended the film and specific versions and conditions of the film shown. latest film is at the top, earliest at the bottom.

guidelines for the watch party:

- every watch party you attend gives you 1 ticket.
- recommending a film uses 2 tickets.
- once you recommend a film, you get preferential treatment for that film's watch party. you can recommend specific versions of a film (director's cut, theatrical cut, uncut, extended cut, bootleg cuts, etc.) you can give the mods an "appraisal" or hyped up description of the film. you can also talk about the film as long and as passionately as you want, it's your film recommendation after all, we're eager to hear why you love it.
- film recommendations can be categorized under mutual consensus. first introduced by edgar cochran himself for the who killed captain alex? watch party, mutual consensus spends 0 tickets for its recommendation done unanimously with the participants who are present when said recommendation is announced.
- watch parties are usually at 7:00 P.M. PST / 9:00 P.M. CST / 10:00 P.M. EST; discord converts timezones automatically. however, if your film's runtime runs over a threshold of 120 minutes, the watch party date will be set earlier by intervals of 30 minutes. examples: the insider is 158 minutes, 38 minutes over the threshold, so it's watch party is set to 6:30PM; inland empire is 180 minutes, so watch party is set to 6:00PM; so on and so forth. note: anything over 4 hours is a no-go.
- all mics are usually off, but we text in the voice channel chat during the film for active discussion and curation during the film, usually by the user who recommended it.
- but sometimes a movie asks itself to be celebrated openly, so on occasions like that, watch parties can be open-mic events where everyone is allowed to talk over the film. this was also suggested by edgar cochran for the who killed captain alex? watch party.
- occasionally we will have breaks in between watch party blocks, this is to compensate for the mod team schedules and to prevent burnout, for us and the server. use this time to think of movies you want to share with us. we'll be waiting.
-finally, mods may issue an encore for certain films. if you want to premiere your film again at any day of the week or on a watch party day (sunday), let them know and they'll figure something else.
