The version I watched ran 81 minutes — approximately 61 minutes too long. And now that I'm in the home stretch of the franchise, with the final three entries all directed by David Palmieri (responsible for the "Camp Blood" compilation film "Camp Blood Kills (2019)" and "Axegrinder (2006)"), I'm bracing myself. If this installment is any indication, it’s going to be a tough ride to the end.

I honestly don’t know that it’s any better than those 6, but what I do know is that one Berna Roberts is in it so that’s really all I needed to enjoy this mess because she was my favorite thing about Axegrinder. Please look at her photos on IMDb. Some of them are ridiculously adorable, some are very pretty, some are crazy glam, and then this one is the GOAT. i actually think this might be the best of the series
oh hell yeah. my witchcraft fatigue has lifted. all i needed was yoga witches, telekinetic vengeance and a will spanner who looks like he's channeling the chris angel mindfreak aesthetic. this was delightful trash. ngl chapter thirteen in this saga of stupidity almost crushed my will entirely, but now i feel restored. my satanic chakras have aligned.
Feels uncommonly like an actual movie, by Witchcraft standards; I assume this is because, by 2016, good digital cameras were so readily available that even these producers could afford them. The series' mainstay shortcomings of terrible acting and dialogue remain in place (this is beyond doubt the worst performance of recurring quasi-main character Will Spanner yet), but there are just barely enough people who know what type of film this is and pitch things at the correct level that there were even some characters I enjoyed spending time with. Plus, it's actually able to tell exactly what happens in the story based solely on the onscreen evidence and without having to engage in any desperate speculation. Only for this franchise…
I have finally made it to the first movie of the last "trilogy" in the Witchcraft series! Will is back in a seemingly smaller role. More importantly, Lutz has returned! From the get-go, there are jokes about Lutz and Garner always getting stuck with supernatural cases.
There is a coven that uses a yoga studio as a front. Gotta say that is one of the weirder bad guy hideouts in this series. Then again, I have seen some news reports about yoga studios and the nonsense that goes on there.
This version of Will is very whiny, wears black clothes, and has black eyeliner. He throws tantrums in the lamest ways possible. Then the big baddie has the nerdiest henchman ever seen in any movie that didn't have the word "nerd" in the title.

I wasn't in a great mood when I turned this on, and I was worried that would ruin the movie, but actually the movie turned things around for me 😆 So that's kind of my review, it can cure a bad mood, apparently.
It looks like the next two movies continue with the same group and storyline, so that should be fun 👍

The real angel of death is whoever greenlit this movie.
Not only is this another reboot of the Will Spanner character but he's really just a side character. This one is about Rose who joins a, checks notes, yoga studio for witches? Anyway, this is the first film of a trilogy and it's really not that bad but it's not that good either. Some CW show really needs to snatch up Molly Dougherty because she just looks like somebody that would be a really big star on the CW.
Oh and it's the best looking and sounding movie since, I don't know, the first one back in 1989.
