they gave me a lesbian horror movie.... but at what cost...

Just ignoring all the things that usually get called out in a movie, poor writing, bad acting, etc. Instead I just want to know how that guy has spent several years in that cabin with no vehicular access that's allegedly 20 miles from civilization? How's he gotten his groceries let alone all his various supplies? Has he just humped them in every few weeks, but then that would be a shitload to carry? Maybe he straight mountain mans it and forages for food? There's just too many questions.

The Dale Doback award goes to Landry Allbright, the actress who gave us Gina. I don't think she was as bad as I remember her being but in a movie like this it's really a toss-up.

A standard zombie film. There’s nothing really wrong with it, but they don’t bring anything new to the genre either.
Whenever I see zombies like these, that exhibit any sort of stealth or speed of movement… I think yeah, when the zombie apocalypse does happen, I’m not going to make it through.🤷🏻‍♀️

This was not nearly as bad as I assumed it would be. 

The dialogue gets a little cringe at times but overall it’s just an average take on the “outbreak” genre with decent practical effects. The choice to use practical instead of CGI is the main reason this is getting three stars. 

I would say it’s worth a watch if you’re a fan of the sub-genre or just wanna see Scout Taylor-Compton kick some ass.

Day 21. Today is Scout Taylor-Compton's birthday. Watch a horror movie that she's in.

The creature reminded me of the Descent beasts, clearly still have a human form, rows of teeth, and a predator/woodpecker grumble. Their attacks are savage, munching while their victims are still alive.

Our frowning final girl, everyone around her sticks her high up on a golden pedestal. Its sickly, but I cant fault her she is the perfect strong girl. So I took pleasure in the feral party.

All in all its no bad, I got a good grunt laugh at some of the setups.

This movie is horrible in so many ways, the story is ridiculous, the acting is just horrendous, all their decisions are laughable and the situations they get themselves in are pure stupidity, for some medical students they are really not that smart. The dialogues are a waste and states the obvious and it's always at the wrong time that they give the forced back stories, it's really quite idiotic. The ¨monsters¨ are real bad and boring. The run time is just 1h30 but it feels more like 2h30 of pain.

This movie really reminds me of a 2000s horror movie, you know like The House Of Wax Remake, Dark Ride, Autopsy and a lot of others...which I actually like! Normally for me I would write this off as well being really bad, but there’s something about this one I genuinely like. Scout Taylor-Compton I thought did a pretty decent job as well as Olivia Luccardi I definitely think the both of them were definitely the best thing about this movie. The writing definitely could have been better, there were some ridiculous lines in this movie that are just unbelievably stupid, surprisingly the creature was not that bad. Granted it’s not anything groundbreaking but it’s definitely not terrible, surprisingly enough the kills are actually decent. I was pretty shocked to see some genuinely good kills in this movie, overall Feral isn’t going to break any new grounds but it’s really enjoyable!
