Films being predominantly male-centric, it always fascinates me to stumble on something that have either an all-female cast or a predominantly female cast. I was getting into Henry Jaglom's Eating, and was pleasantly surprised to find out that there was nary a male actor in sight! In a cast of many, many women! It quickly reminded me of George Cukor's The Women [and David Miller's, Rainer Werner Fassbinder's, and Diane English's forgotten remakes.] These films being anomalies is a constant fascination for me in this unfair world [read this 2018 study], and being an actressexual, I am doubly fascinated with their existence. So I decided to put up a list of films with an all-female or predominantly female cast -- as a guide for me and for everyone else similarly interested. They're not all good, but many of them are a delight!
