Now usually the concept of a "Letterboxd Challenge" holds no appeal to me. Hooptober has become an annual exception to that rule. For the sixth year in a row I'll be attempting to watch and review at least 31 different horror films while meeting specific criteria. I've only succeeded at reaching the finish line twice, but it's about the climb not the destination. Even so, I would really like to compete the challenge with a gold star this go around! Every single film here is a fresh viewing, as I typically aim for. The shrieks will start to sound around late September so that I can ensure completion prior to Halloween.
