Every film lover has noticed how certain directors work best with certain actors. They understand that particular directors are able to illicit great performances from particular actors; that specific actors are turned into iconic characters, coaxed onto the screen by specific directors. So, who are your favorite actor-director collaborators and what is their most exemplary film? What are the most worthy pairings and films?
