girl....... why u gonna stop your grand escape from a hideous psycho to save a glorified talking roomba
Science fiction trash with a neon prison house and my girl Maika Monroe, I may never watch this again, but whatevz, I was entertained for 97 minutes... which I consider a victory because I watch movies far worse than this on a weekly, almost daily basis.
might just be me but i swear maika monroe and the a.i. were falling in love with each other

”My creators did bad things to me too. Things that hurt me”
Federico D’Alessandro’s Tau is unequivocally horrific. It is utter torture to have to sit through and antagonising to even comprehend any positives within the ninety-six minute running time and even that feels as if its stretched this tiresome concept out. Character development is obsolete with what seems to be a completely unrelated opening that offers such a tragic attempt at backstory with zero interest or quality to subject its audience into such a dismal life. The exploration of what the film has to offer in terms of ideals is a pathetic attempt at creating a conversation on wider uses of A.I.…
i really would follow maika monroe down every rabbit hole of a movie she makes, huh?

It's schlocky nonsense and I (kinda) love it...
(If you need to be sold on this, just know that it climaxes with Maika Monroe breathing on a severed hand to heat it up enough to bypass a fingerprint scanner and the movie is every bit as stupid as that sounds).
