The Craft is brimming with fun, witchy, teenage girl shenanigans which is something I would have been utterly obsessed with in my youth. As it stands, I'm not quite as head over heels as anticipated, but this was still absolutely worth my time. The pacing was good, the story enjoyable, and I adored the casting of our four main girls (plus seeing Skeet Ulrich is always a delight).
Unfortunately, the underutilisation of Rochelle and Bonnie, in addition to the final act not particularly sticking the landing while simultaneously undermining its feminist themes, meant this didn't pack as much of a punch as I was expecting. Regardless, the overall vibes were fabulous, and I can absolutely see myself revisiting this seasonally.
