Often times, if a film starts sweeping awards at the Oscars, it's a good sign for the final prize. There have been five films that were nominated for multiple Oscars, including Best Picture, and managed to sweep every award they were nominated for.

These are none of those five. These are films that were just shy of that clean sweep. Films that were nominated for multiple Oscars, including Best Picture, that won every award they were nominated for except for Best Picture.
