My attempt at the Watchlist Clean Out Challenge.
As of making this list on November 20, 2021, I have 1,673 films on my watchlist, not even including shorts or TV shows. So God, do I need to do this challenge to cut down on that.
For the most part, I used shuffle to pick random films that fit the criteria needed in order to just get movies off my watchlist.

The biggest surprise was George Washington. Prior to this film, the only David Gordon Green films I’d seen was the Halloween trilogy. This film is a much better showcase of his talents. I never would have expected something so tender and gentle and sympathetic from the guy who directed Halloween Kills. The biggest disappointment was The Other Side of the Wind. Orson Welles is one of the greatest filmmakers ever and his last film, released so long after his death, is something that was truly incredible just to get to watch. I’m glad I saw it. But god, was it such a mess. I was hoping for so much more.
