😴Respectfully, what was this? Someone definitely watched Freddy Krueger a little too much…
👻I really loved the first part and found the kidnapping storyline much stronger. I was also expecting this sequel to focus on Finney again, but I can’t lie, I did like that we got to see more of his sister and her connection to everything.
❄️I enjoyed the backstory elements, but I wasn’t that interested in the whole “saving kids” angle. The setting was great, though — very unsettling and atmospheric.
🪓Overall, the movie felt a bit too broad and bland to me. It didn’t leave a strong impression or really hook me in. At times, it even felt unnecessary.
🎥I appreciate that they tried to take a different directing approach than in the first film, but unfortunately, I don’t think it worked the way they intended.
