Ah, Hooptober (or should I say, ahhhhhhhh! Hooptober). A tradition unlike any other. I participate in very few Letterboxd challenges but for four years now I’ve made sure to participate in this annual one as it is both a great way to put Halloween watches together and read and share great reviews, lists, and comments from the horror community on here. For the first time last year, I was able to watch all my selections by the deadline of 10/31 and plan to do the same this year.

The full list of rules for this year’s editions can be found here. I may change or reorder some selections but all requirements will be satisfied. I was able to complete said requirements and extra credit (I don’t count those three films towards any other requirements) with 28 films so 6 are free spots. Looking forward to watching these and seeing what everyone else is watching as well!
