Hello to all the great ghouls and goblins out there. I hope you are all healthy and well and ready for another glorious installment of Cinemonster's very own Hoop-tober!
It's hard for me to believe that I am now an EIGHT-TIME participant in this wonderful challenge and I'm so happy to still be one of the OGs hanging around and having fun with it.
While I am sad that it appears that this festival will be yet another one clouded by the dreaded virus and variants, I'm so grateful that many of my favorite cinemas are still open and showing great movies during these dark times. Until that goes, maybe I can hang on to my sanity for a bit…

Obviously I'm very excited for new releases from the Halloween and Candyman franchises, a new PURE HORROR Edgar Wright joint and to discover many new amazing horror films alongside some very kind and thoughtful individuals who do this challenge with me every year.
I hope everyone has a safe and enjoyable Hoop-tober whether you're inside or out and about. Let's make the best of it and try not to eat too much candy (I've already lost this part of the challenge)
