🎬I watched MaXXXine a couple of days ago and completely forgot to log it…silly me.
💋I loved it. Even though it feels a bit different from the prequels and definitely lacks a little slashing in my opinion, it was still great and somehow I enjoyed it more than X.
👸🏼Maxine looks sooo pretty blonde. Even though she’s an icon no matter the hair color, it felt like such a fun change for this era of her character. And since we know the past, it’s even more interesting!
🔎I also liked that this one leaned more into the mystery/detective direction, which was a really fun switch up, but I do wish we got to see more of Maxine’s actual acting🎭 and that whole side of the story too. I feel like there was so much potential there.
⋆˙⟡ — And that alley scene??? Oh I LOVED ITTT :
“Do you know what happened to the last person who tried to kill me? I crushed her fucking head.”🩸
🔪Maybe I’m just slow, but I genuinely did not expect that plot twist😭
📸The ending absolutely rocks, and now I need another sequel, prequel, spin off, whatever they want to give me because I could watch 100 more of these. (Just maybe with a little more slashing next time tho)
