A Limousine the Colour of Midsummer's Eve is a charming small-scale comedy from Latvia. The elderly Mirta, living alone on her farm, wins a brand new car. Soon enough, her house is full of her extended family, all trying to win her favour in hopes of inheriting the car when she passes. Lots of funny moments here (even though I'm sure much of it was lost in translation for me), and Lilita Bērziņa is delightful as Mirta. A fun summery watch.
