It's Hooptober time, baby!!! My first Hooptober was so much fun, I couldn't wait for this year's. Despite admittedly getting a late start, I was counting down the days in September til this could officially begin, and before that counting down the days til this year’s official rules were released. Cinemonster, thanks for creating something so great, genuinely.
I also wanna try and challenge myself a bit extra with this year's overall challenge. A little over half the movies I watched for last year's were rewatches, so I'm going to try and do as many first-time watches for this year as possible. Being a big buff of both movies in general and horror especially, that obviously might not always end up happening; for example, I’ve already seen The Scooby Doo Project. But, it's important to attempt, no?
Edit: Challenge successful!! Discounting the one film I'd seen before, The Scooby Doo Project, which was listed by name as a bonus film, all 23 other films in my Hooptober challenge this year were first time watches!! Quite proud of myself for holding out on this self-challenge, even if some of these were pretty rough. Looking forward to next year!!
