I'm always iffy on biopics like this. Real life doesn't make for good cinematic storytelling, so taking liberties is unavoidable. Still, many come across as hokey, heavy handed, insincere, and overall fake. Assuming they didn't just make everything up to begin with. Okay look, I'm glad this show has an actual ending. Gooseworx had a plan from the start, and everything that happens here felt properly built up and fit right into place. Many shows don't get the luxury of a proper conclusion, so I'm at least grateful this one does, and no matter what I say next, just know that I highly respect this and the rest of the series as a production. The characters are all memorable and work well off each other.
There's plenty of laughs to be had.
The last third almost feels a little disconnected from the first with a drastic shift in tone, but it leads to a pretty sweet finale.
