👑 I knew I was going to love this movie, which is exactly why I saved it for the perfect moment, and it was sooo worth it. Watching it felt like a genuinely beautiful experience. Since I recently realized how much I adore period dramas (and Sofia Coppola, obvi), it hit even harder.
🩷 Kirsten Dunst was absolutely magical and felt completely made for this role — she embodied it so effortlessly.
💛 Sofia Coppola once again proved why her directing is unmatched: the soft, dreamy colour palette, the cinematography, the setting, and the quiet yet powerful storytelling all came together so seamlessly. I found myself admiring every single frame.
🍰 I’m so glad I finally watched this film. It was far more emotional than I expected, lingering with me long after it ended.
