This is a list of every Argentine produced film that has ever been nominated in any category at the Oscars. Argentina has the record as the South American country with the most nominations and most wins for Best International Feature Film. It is one of only three South American countries, along with Chile and Brazil, to have won an Oscar in that category. Argentina was also the first Latin American country to win Best Foreign Language Film.

Special Note: A Place in the World was an Argentine film that was nominated for Best Foreign Language Film at the 65th Academy Awards, but was submitted on behalf of Uruguay. However, following the discovery that the film was primarily Argentine produced with little Uruguayan contribution, the film was disqualified. Due to the fact that this film was disqualified, and the fact that at the 74th Academy Awards, the Academy officially declared that In This Tricky Life was the first Uruguayan nominee thus removing A Place in the World from official considerations, it will not be included on this list despite being an Argentine film that secured a nomination.
