Hardly making three and a half stars here we have a comical horror comedy that takes place at Good Friends Church Camp. 🏕️ We have a funny cast to go with it, nudity, and absolute riot of a demon villain lumberjack man who’s coming back for his pancake recipe. 🥞 🍁 If you’re in the mood for an under the radar low key silly horror film then check this out!

There are few things that bring me happiness and pancakes, titts and a bible camp massacre are most definitely up there on the list.
A lumberjack comes back from the dead after being murdered for his pancake recipe, and starts killing teens at a camp to use their blood as syrup on a stack of giant pancakes. Very good concept! It had some decent kills, and Michael Madsen is very funny in it. I think it really could’ve been great if it was more tightly edited, had better written characters, better humor, any sense of style, or was a different movie. As is, it's an ok recent slasher.
It's got the boobs, some decent blood and a camp location that a good slasher should have but the humour did not work for me at all. To the point of constantly taking me out of the movie. The only thing I laughed at was Michael Madsen vs. Lumberjack Man.

These fucking kids are too damn stupid to survive church camp without a demon lumberjack trying to kill them, let alone with one. And they're supposed to be the counselors? Jesus wept.
Goddamn! I laughed like a retarded monkey with this tits and ass slasher! Funny and totally ridiculous! Flapjacks and bloody syrup. Bible camp with horny teens, a killer and then there's Michael Madsen. He's kind of like a Dr. Loomis, I don't think I've ever seen Madsen do comedy so what comes out of his mouth here was comedy gold for me. I think he cracked up for real during his scene explaining to the cops what's up with the teens out there in the woods and the giant killer. One thing they don't fuck with are the kills. They're good, bloody and inventive, so that's a good thing, right? Stupid and over the top. Loved the food fight scene. For fans of 70's or 80's slashers only.
A pleasant surprise from 2015's 8 Films to Die For. Campy and entertaining slasher with some memorable kills and quirky comedy.
