maybe an overused sentiment (by me) but every shot in this is a renaissance painting. chloe zhao good director!!! kinda interesting how thematically similar this is to sentimental value re: making art out of familial pain but comes to a complete opposite conclusion. ultimately suffered for me due to it being tough to fully see shakespeare as a human being. but this is good i could see this being the crowd pleasing ranked voting best picture winner and i wouldnt be that upset
