Ruben’s review published on Letterboxd:
I recently read the book of Audition and loved it. This adaption takes everything great about the book and just elevates it on every level. It's shot beautifully and it relishes in the slow burn of the story. It's a bit more on the nose than the book when it comes to suggesting that something isn't right, but it's so effective in its execution, making for an uneasy atmosphere way before the horror starts to unfold, and when it does, it's drawn out, almost unbearably silent, and hits hard. This was great, an instant favourite.
