This is very well shot, with interesting angles and light. I was hooked by the first act but other parts, especially some of the CGI in the apocalypse scenes, weren’t as strong. Similarly to Signs, I find the religious undertones to be eyeroll-inducing.
I did enjoy the full-circle moment with KC and the Sunshine Band’s “Boogie Shoes.”
