Strange tone in this one that didn’t gel with me. Comedic but it ain’t funny. It’s got a couple tricks up its sleeve but shows them early and then continues to recycle them throughout.
Despite what’s on paper, this feels like Tsukamoto doing one for the normies instead of the sickos (respectfully, given the rest of his work). Ironic given today’s PYP theme.
