Hooptober 12 | #28/34 (my list here)

A really solid entry in the zombie genre. It reminds me a bit of 28 Days Later but it REALLY holds the most similarities with the Last of Us. Almost feels like part of that universe. I like the Last of Us so I like this! Some interesting themes on morality, humanity, sacrifice, and captivity here. The ending subverts expectations. There is one part near the middle of the film where the main character who is a child does something that pissed me off and made me hate her for a second but it's not her fault.
