I expected so much more from this based on the way so many people talk about it. People treat it like it's a horror masterpiece. Maybe it's a hot take, but I absolutely do not think that's true. It's just another excuse to make women suffer in the worst ways imaginable (and usually while wearing very little clothing!) with almost zero payoff. Horror movies with content like this either need to have some sort of meaningful message for me to put up with them or they need to be so over the top it's pretty clear they are silly and in on their own joke. This doesn't do either of those things. I'm not a fan!
