Ya know when you’re young and out drinking with friends and it’s a nice warm night and you’re just vibing and wandering, out on a side mish. You dunno where you’re going or what you’re doing. Well that’s this movie. Our dude, Zano, is like the classic fried, bored, and eclectic old rockstar. He’s also a vampire but, despite it being the continuous drive and backdrop, it feels secondary. It’s not. None of it is. But it’s a meandering and stylish journey to get to the point.
Colour themes are yellowed, from dirtied brown to piercing white, and edging into green. Bleached blonde hair. Warm flames. Dull lights against beige or stone. Furs. Neon yellow blood (except when it’s blue or red).
Loose and a total vibe.
The director also did the score under the alias, Felizol, and it’s a fuckin bop.
