Watching one movie from 30 different countries in the month of March. Challenge further described by Lise. 

I started this challenge inadvertently by realizing I watched three movies in a row from foreign countries—I may as well go for it. I will add the films to this list as I go.

I’m planning to have the list consist primarily of more recent films.

March 31 update:
I successfully watched 27 foreign films in the month. Not bad for starting late. My five favorites were Casa de Lava (Portugal), White God (Hungary), 4 Months, 3 Weeks and 2 Days (Romania), Still Walking (Japan), and Dry Season (Chad), in that order. I’ll finish up by watching the New Zealand film White Lies as soon as I can. I look forward to trying this again next year!
