Doesn't offer anything new to a well trodden genre but it commits fully to being what it is - soaked in gore, relentless carnage when it gets going, emotional character beats amongst all the mayhem, and that familiar "all hope is lost" feeling that good zombie films do so well.
Also, throughout the entire and largely miserable runtime, all I kept thinking was "Indonesia looks nice, I should try and visit someday"
