Slappy McGee’s review published on Letterboxd:
Holy Mediocrity!!!
An interesting opening. Then it gets really boring. Then all of the plot holes open and swallow up the next third of the film. Leaving us thoroughly unsatisfied by the end.
Lovely. Just lovely.
Acting is not bad. Not great, but serviceable. The dialogue is fine. But the plotting is fucking god awful. Just kind of ridiculous with characters cycling in and out with no backstory or explanations. Shit-ass writing.
And as poor as the writing/plot is... it's not the worst movie in the world. There are some good moments of horror and tension.
But overall, it commits the biggest sin in cinema:
...it's just "meh".
