Dylan’s review published on Letterboxd:
I wasn't too sure what to expect from Eyes Without a Face but I'm pleasantly surprised. The acting is pretty great, and the special effects far surpass anything else I've seen from 1960 or earlier, especially the surgery scene, it looks great. It's a really slow burn though...like really slow, I was still interested in the story, but it really takes its time with everything and I think you could easily shorten a few scenes and shave 15 minutes from the movie without cutting anything important away. The ending is fantastic though.
