Gorgeous, colorful and quite a vibrant retelling of the Faustian myth. Spinning the tale around a woman's yearning for youth and the satanic deal that follows seems prophetic seeing the horrors of modern beauty industry and how far women go or are pushed to fit into the standards that's eternally changing. This pursuit that only ever brings your own downfall is rings so true even today. Incredible filmmaking!
Also loved seeing the protagonist wear a saree (pretty sure that was a saree) for a significant runtime. Kinda wild an Italian silent era film had saree as one of the prominent attires.
