A lot of camp with a sprinkle of gore and tension. Unfortunately, it’s impossible to “go in blind” to this one because of the flashback prologue. I really think it’s a shame there isn’t a bit more mystery. I love that the end actually went there though.
Samara Weaving absolutely carries the film. The humor didn’t always land for me, but her character’s personality and sarcastic quips were relatable.
