Hooptober 12 | #19/34 (my list here)

It's been a while since I've watched such a blatant example of "white people fuck around and find out" but here we are. I hated all of these characters basically immediately. In the beginning of the movie one of them throws up, doesn't flush the toilet or brush their teeth, and then immediately kisses someone else. That's when I actively was rooting for all of them to die.

The rest of the movie is them continuing to be absolute fucking idiots who are completely ignorant of local culture and unwilling to heed the warnings or advice of anyone around them. Predictable results follow.

The only positive comes from the gore. I'll give it that, it has some gnarly fucking scenes that made me recoil and clench my teeth.

Unfortunately I really prefer horror movies where I have like, at least one person to root for.
