Is this a safe space to admit this was pretty shit?

Points for Boris Karloff and the movies visuals. But it's otherwise dreadfully dull. I want to be forgiving because it's an iconic classic universal monster movie and it still early in the talking era of film...but Frankenstein was only the year before and is wildly better.
