Even from the early part of his career, Cronenberg's body horrors were brilliant in their own twisted while exploring the themes of sexuality, bodily agency and the horrors that comes out of it when the line is crossed. Marilyn Chambers' Rose also just became one of my fav horror protagonists after this lol.
