Coralie Fargeat's debut feature has all the things that I loved about her sophomore venture The Substance. Disgusting creepy men, beautiful women, examination of male gaze, exceptionally composed and vibrant frames, relentless pacing and body horror that serves the themes of the film. The rape-revenge drama here is pretty damn good that removes all the fluff and focuses on the main storyline and keeps suffocating you with the tension until it blows up in a bloody manner. It does have its issues but pretty well made for a debut.
