Brilliant, bone-chilling, nightmarish look into the fractured psyche of both the man and the country he's living in after the disaster that was the Vietnam war. A masterpiece that will probably not leave my mind for a long time. Tim Robbins is excellent at portraying the insanity which is enhanced to delirious levels by the direction of Adrian Lyne and the frames of Jeffrey Kimball. The ending scene made me almost tear up!
