Hooptober 12
Film #9 of 42 watched
This was on my radar due to Willem Dafoe giving it his first movie in his top four.
There's a version with the directors commentary subtitled which was pretty interesting but I only watched the beginning of it.
The susuki grass is beautiful and makes for a very memorable experience. The sound design is also really good.
It's quite soft for a horror. It's based on a parable and may have been the inspiration for a goosebumps episode.
