Pretty fun Soviet horror. Protest accidentally murders a witch and has to spend the night praying for her while her spirit tries to get him. The practical effects in this is what it’s all about. So many great shots especially and the creatures towards the end are sublime. My only complaint is this felt very much like Encounters of the Spooky Kind, but our priest doesn’t have the charisma of Sammo Hung.
