Hallow Road

I love a film that you can interpret and theorise in several different ways once it ends and "Hallow Road" absolutely fits that bill.

It starts in fairly standard fashion, a couple get a distressing call from their daughter late at night and discover she's been involved in a tragic car accident and the rest of the film takes place in the car as they travel to help her. But just as you're thinking "This is really good, but why is it classed as a horror?" it becomes something... a little different, which I won't spoil. Sure, it won't necessarily blow you away by any means, it both benefits from its premise and is possibly held back by it at the same time. But, it's twisty, very creative, Rosamund Pike is superb and it has one of the more interesting endings in recent memory that as I said, you can interpret in a few different ways. Which is great in my opinion.

Wouldn't mind watching this again, because I think it's one of those films that when you've seen it, you'll pick up on different things the next time around and I need the help because I still don't know what I want to believe. Well worth a watch anyway, clocks in at a measly 80 minutes and I want to hear other peoples theories.
