Hooptober 12 | #12/34 (my list here)
This was pretty fun! Much more whimsical than I expected but I should have assumed that would be the case considering who directs it.
This, for me, is a 90's fantasy movie with horror elements more than just straight horror. Comedy elements too! The real MVP of the film is little Aurora. Coming in clutch over and over.
Anyone who has found satisfaction in peeling off dead skin after a bad sunburn will likely find that same feeling near the end of this film. 😌
Hooptober qualifications:
- decade (1990s)
- country (mexico)
- a mexican or central american directed film
