It takes a village...

...a village of pervs... to make this movie.

At one point, it seemed like this zombie film had devolved into a soft porn version of a Benny Hill sketch. Literally a full van of female basketball players get out by Zombie Lake, goof around for a bit then strip down fully naked and jump in the lake.

You know... like you do.

And then get mauled by pickled green zombies with shitty makeup peeling off.

However... there's a GLIMMER of a story floating around in this rancid lake of a film. Hidden just below the surface is something pretty interesting about one of the zombies having died without meeting his daughter who has grown into a brave young girl who lives in the village now. So this zombie has a bit of a heart and actually stands up to the other zombies at time when it comes to his not-undead-but-very-much-alive daughter. It's an interesting story concept (in this zombie genre) that is choked out by all the algae of crap surrounding it.

So, this movie that's unsure if it wants to be a soft porn at first, a zombie movie next, then a touching father/daughter story at the end... is a mixed bag of lake water.
