I will confess I watched the American remake before I watched this. And for a remake it's very good. This one is superior in everyway. It's beautifully shot. Oskar & Eli's slowly budding relationship is a fantastic example of coming of age & falling in love for the first time. Add in the creepiness of Eli's nightly activities & this one really won me over. But we all know I'm a sucker for romantic horror.
