DAY 5: Cults/Secret Societies

Is it a perfect movie? No
Is it a horror movie? Fuck yes, today it is much more relevant than you might think. It's like watching the aftermath of a war that we all collectively lost despite having all the intel and doing nothing with it because it felt too much work

Weirdly paced and tonally wild at times, THEY LIVE screams at you like a banshee with its consumerism criticism and other oh-not-so-subliminal messages.

But it appears we live in space, because nobody heard this scream.
Oh, yeah, about the space - that scene with the travelling station? Reminded me of the first PHANTASM with its glimpse into the world of unimaginable horror. Love that.
