"Heathens... bloody heathens!"

Lucky number 3 for Hooptober XII.

So excited to have finally seen this! I went in with pretty much no idea what the story was about (something involving pagans, presumably), and that was definitely for the best. What a wonderful film. I was not prepared for how hard the final act was going to hit. The culmination to that slow, simultaneous build-up of merriment and dread is pure folk horror perfection.

I'm so glad Scotland isn't real. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🦄
